Salfahouse is proud to showcase the ongoing 2026 Lyme House project, a custom rebuild in Lyme, Connecticut. This project includes a new foundation and the reconstruction of nearly the entire home, while preserving the detached garage and one original room from the existing structure.
The home is approximately 3,500 square feet and is inspired by a combination of a previous raised ranch transformation we completed, along with design features drawn from several other past projects. The design was carefully developed in collaboration with the homeowners to align with their budget, needs, expectations, and overall vision.
Throughout the design process, special attention was given to functionality, usability, and feasibility, ensuring the final result balances thoughtful design with practical construction considerations.
