Entertainment and Family Room Build-Out Above Attached Garage

We are currently working on an exciting project to transform the attic space above an attached garage into a versatile playroom, game room, or family lounge. This design combines thoughtful engineering with custom craftsmanship to create a functional and enjoyable space for the homeowners.

Key Project Elements:
Self-suspended floor system: Engineered to provide structural support without columns, ensuring an open and usable garage space below.

Shed dormer addition: Enhancing headroom and increasing usable space, bringing in natural light and creating a more comfortable environment.

Hallway connection with staircase: A new hallway and staircase are being built to connect the playroom directly to the main house, eliminating the need to access the space through the garage.

Insulation installation: Ensuring the walls, ceilings, and floors are energy-efficient and soundproof for year-round comfort.
This in-progress garage-top bonus room project will offer a multi-purpose space perfect for family activities, play, and entertainment.
